You Won’t Believe These Close Elections

How much does your vote matter?

Arizona’s attorney general was elected by 280 votes. You could fit that many voters in a small cinema.

When Arizona’s Supreme Court ordered an 1864 abortion ban to resume effect, she swore to block prosecutions of doctors and patients. Her opponent had pledged to enforce any ban.

The Minnesota Senate flipped by one seat in 2022. Just 321 votes decided one key race. You could fit that many voters on a 747 and leave about a hundred empty seats.  Minnesota then passed progressive policies including universal school lunch

In 2018, a tie between two candidates in Virginia that decided control of the House was broken by pulling a name out of a bowl. One more voter could have tipped the election either way. You could fit that many voters in a pair of pants.

The deciding vote in a key race could be you.
